Tim is an amazing real estate agent. He is down to earth and very easy to talk to. He really knows how to read people. Why pay 5% commission?  Mr Lyons provided with his Kahootz partner great advice for the sale of our current residence in Riverside South; advising us when best to put our home on the market, setting a realistic and achievable asking price based on years of experience and intimate knowledge of Riverside South’s residential market.  They were right, we had lots of interest in our townhouse and sold in no time.  Entering the seller market at the right time, a realistic asking price were key to our selling and removing the “first right of refusal” worries when looking at a future property.  Tim’s advice regarding prospective properties, be it future resale value, location choice, traffic, choosing the right home for our growing family and not settling was very much appreciated.  After viewing many possibilities, we targeted a particular home and let Mr Lyons negotiate the asking price to within our comfort purchase price doing so just before an open house.  Well, offer was accepted and we can’t be more happy to be moving to a home that will meet our needs and offer us great resale value in the future.

It was our first time selling and buying a home. Being new to the process, we were unsure of what to expect and how to navigate the Ottawa real estate market. My home was in Copeland Park, and I had been trying to sell on my own for about 6 weeks, we had a lot of showings, everyone loved the house, but the house was not selling. We were getting discouraged and had started thinking about renting it out in case we did not sell.

One day my neighbour Steve came by and said he knows a good Realtor (Tim), I took Tim’s business card from him (I forgot to call him). A few days later Tim calls me and offers me an aggressive rate, we invite him over to our house and he says he can sell the house in 1 week, I did not believe him and said to him I will give you 2 months to sell.
